2017 Movies for the Geek in U!

It's seems the movie blockbuster season get's earlier and earlier every year.  Here's a rundown of what's coming to a theater near you this Spring and Summer.

March 24th

Power Rangers

A group of high-school kids (played by Naomi Scott, Becky G., Ludi Lin, RJ Cyler, Dacre Montgomery), who are infused with unique superpowers, must harness their abilities in order to save the world from being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet.

March 31st

Ghost in the Shell

"They created her, but they cannot control her." Rupert Sanders' live-action Ghost in the Shell movie, based on the original manga series. Scarlett Johansson stars as "The Major", a "one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid" who leads an elite task force as part of Section 9. She goes on an epic search to find a hacker criminal who wants to destroy all the technology at Hanka Robotics.

April 14th

Fate of the Furious

Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. Wonder Woman

The Amazonian princess-warrior Diana left her lush tropical island to dwell in our urban cityscapes of glass and steel. Tutored in the ways of the Greek warriors, and outfitted with incredible gifts the Goddess bestowed upon her people, she becomes Paradise Island's emissary to civilization.

June 9th

The Mummy

Transformers: The Last Knight.

Optimus Prime finding his home planet, Cybertron, now a dead planet, which he comes to find he was responsible for killing. He finds a way to bring the planet back to life, but in order to do so he needs to find an artifact, and that artifact is on Earth.

June 30th

Amityville: The Awakening

In the film, Belle and her family move into a new house, but when strange phenomena begin to occur in the house, Belle begins to suspect her Mother isn’t telling her everything and soon realizes they just moved into the infamous Amityville house.

July 7th

Spider-Man: Homecoming

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man living in New York City begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging superhero. Starring the same Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) that first appeared in Marvel's Captain America: Civil War.

July 14th

War for the Planet of the Apes

The Dark Tower

The Dark Tower starring Idris Elba as the Gunslinger and Matthew McConaughey as the mysterious antagonist known as the man in black.

August 25th

Terminator 2 in 3D
